Harry Vardon trophy is the smallest of American PGA Tour players scoring average annual prize. When created in 1937, it was granted on the basis of the introduction of the first.1947-the season onwards, it has done for the calculated average. in 1980, it had been granted for a period of not less than 60 round scoring average and in 1988, and customize for at least 60 firearm scoring averages.
Byron Nelson is a PGA Tour equivalent. it was granted for the first time in 1980 and currently, shall be adopted in accordance with the lowest average adjusted scoring at least 50 with a firearm.
The two winners are not always the same, such as the chart below.
Tiger Woods (who else) is the most trophies with eight Vardon; and nine Byron Nelson, Lee Trevino and Awards. Billy Casper has five Vardons.Greg Norman has five Byron Nelsons.
Interestingly, most all of them, Jack Nicklaus has not.
